Key Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of light & heavy machinery, including excavators of all sizes, skid steers, track loaders and mini skid steers in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance I.E. greasing machinery, inspections, calibrations.
Work on the site with the landscaping and construction teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately perform grading, excavation, and earthmoving tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
Maintain machine activity logs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in landscaping or construction.
Valid driver's license. (Required)
Hoisting license. (Preferred)
Strong knowledge of heavy machinery & equipment operations, safety protocols, and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
