Responsibilities include patient assessments, pain management education, and monitoring of patient conditions under the supervision of registered nurses. The role requires maintaining medication knowledge and effective communication with patients and their families.
The LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
