Estons Bakery in Toledo, OH is looking for kitchen prep to join our team. We are located 4164 Monroe Street, Toledo, OH 43606. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and follows directions.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen prep will include running items from production to cooler/freezer and back
• Includes spreading and filling our cakes, making colored icing, etc.
• Setting up pans for cakes, cupcakes or other bakery items
• Putting food items already baked in the appropriate containers, labeling them and putting them away in the correct place, which also requires following rules of inventory (first in and first out, etc.)
• Dishes are included in this position. Dishes consist of sheet pans, round cake pans, cheesecake pans and bottom inserts, plastic containers, some utensils, etc. Not the usual restaurant dishes (plates, forks, knives, spoons, bowls).
• Utility work - cleaning, sanitizing areas of bakery
• Packaging items as needed

Qualifications

• Must have work experience in a food establishment and familiar with food safety
• Hard worker
• Dependable
