Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager / Program Manager to lead and deliver multiple complex technology initiatives for our client Walgreens, working through CGI. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing large-scale IT programs, particularly within healthcare, financial services, and pharmaceutical domains, and demonstrate strong leadership across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in IT Project Management / Program Management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Strong experience in Financial Services and Pharmaceutical domains.
- Demonstrated Healthcare industry experience, preferably with enterprise clients.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Java-based application environments.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large retail healthcare organizations.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT projects and programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Provide strategic program oversight, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
* Collaborate with business and technical teams to align project objectives with organizational goals.
* Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
* Drive governance, status reporting, and executive-level presentations.
* Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies across interrelated initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
* Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
