Description
A legal department in a prominent logistics company is seeking to add a fully remote, bilingual in Spanish, legal investigator to their growing team! Robert Half Legal has placed two paralegals in this department already who are thriving!
Responsibilities of Role:
· Will be responsible for conducting investigations related to employee relations: harassment, discrimination, etc.
o reviewing docs (HR files, email correspondence, texts, employment records) and weeding through evidence
o interviewing witnesses
o identifying trends within complaints
o partnering with HR to manage complaint files, in EthicsPoint by Navex (would be a huge plus if someone has this software knowledge)
o drafting professional reports about incidents and findings
o note: this role does not require interpreting statutes/recommending discipline
^ pay is contingent upon experience handling these tasks independently, in-house, at a company; preference will be given to investigators who have worked within legal departments, not HR, and who speak Spanish fluently.

Requirements
1. Experience conducting investigations from an in-house/HR/legal perspective (not PI work, but rather, working internally at a company) - this is a must-have, please do not apply without!
2. Strong writing skills to clearly articulate issues and outcomes
3. Bilingual in Spanish (read, write, speak, translate)
