Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Interventional Radiologist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, Georga 30033. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, day tour and including on-call hours, weekends and Holidays. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in interventional radiology, moderate sedation, and fluoroscopy including providing triage, pre-procedure and post-procedure care.
• Assist in the drafting of standard operating procedures.
• Reviews imaging requests and consults and directs scheduling priorities. 
• Provide on-call services for interventional radiology.
• Ensures pre and post technical oversight and feedback for the technologists and nurses involved in performing procedures.
• Administration/supervision of all drugs as needed for the performance and interpretation of imaging examinations. 

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
• Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• NPI report printout
• Active DEA license
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
