Location: Beloit, Wisconsin
Compensation: $37.88–$43.27 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift differential
Schedules available: Tuesday–Saturday on 2nd shift or Sunday–Thursday on 3rd shift. As you gain tenure, a Monday–Friday option may open.
You arrive on shift, review your work orders, and head to the production floor. One moment you’re isolating a fault on a 480V 3‑phase motor using a volt‑ohm meter, amp meter, or oscilloscope; the next, you’re rebuilding a control valve or returning a centrifugal or positive displacement pump to service. You’ll read schematics, diagnose AC/DC electrical issues, and leverage your PLC savvy to keep the line moving. When fabrication is needed, you can run lathes and mills, and you’re comfortable welding (arc and Heliarc®) to complete repairs.
Our manufacturing facilities are large and can be loud. Temperature control is limited, so indoor conditions reflect the season and weather. Work volume and tasks vary by day and by assigned area, and so may your hours.
You’ll start with Frito‑Lay, with the potential to grow a career across PepsiCo. We offer competitive pay and robust benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, and more.
If you already have significant maintenance experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and AC/DC systems, this is a strong match. If you’re earlier in your journey, consider our entry‑level roles that better align with your current skills.
Before any in‑person interview, candidates complete a hands‑on electrical skills assessment.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
