An Industrial Blaster Painter prepares surfaces for painting using blasting techniques and applies industrial coatings, requiring skills in equipment operation, safety protocols, and coating application.

 

Job Description

• Surface Preparation:
  • Remove dirt, rust, old paint, and other contaminants from surfaces using various blasting media (e.g. sand, grit, shot)
• Prepares surfaces for painting to ensure proper adhesion and durability of the coating
• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from defects before painting
• Coating Application:
  • Apply industrial coatings (e.g. paints, primers, sealants) using various methods (e.g., spray guns, brushes, rollers)

• Mix and apply coatings according to specifications and safety guidelines

Additional Requirements

• Steel toe boots
• Work Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Saturday & Sunday as needed)

 

Pay Rate/Salary

• $20.00 - $25.00/hr. depending on experience
