Our client, a dynamic organization in the HR and Safety sector, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be part of the HR department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Human Resources Assistant
**Location:** Pinkard, AL
**Pay Range:** $17
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department.
+ Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager.
+ Act as a backup for payroll in the event of the HR Manager's absence.
+ Compile and maintain employee files (both hard and soft copies).
+ Manage timekeeping, including daily tracking of hourly time and absences.
**What's Needed?**
+ Knowledge of principles, methods, and practices related to payroll activities.
+ Able to exercise independent judgment.
+ Ability to maintain confidential information.
+ Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
+ Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills.
+ Assist with safety programs, policies and procedures
