Job Description

JCO is currently on the lookout for an HR Specialist for one of our top clients!

This dynamic company is one of the nation’s best construction firms and they are looking for a hardworking individual with a high sense of ownership to join their team.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Benefits administration
  • Workers compensation
  • Unemployment claims
  • Compliance
  • Disability and leaves of absence
  • Posting positions to the website
  • Screening internal candidates
  • Onboarding and orientations
  • Running reports
  • Unemployment claims
  • Posting announcements to intranet (birthdays, company announcements)
  • Coordinating internal events and projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective ability to multitask
  • Professional demeanor
  • 5+yrs experience in HR administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
  • 3+yrs of intermediate Excel skills including utilizing pivot tables
