As a Room Attendant, you'll be an essential member of our housekeeping team, reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Executive Housekeeper. Your dedication to maintaining immaculate guest rooms will directly impact our guests' comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Prepare and maintain a well-stocked housekeeping cart
- Deliver warm, professional greetings to guests
- Execute thorough room cleaning procedures, including:
- Changing linens and making beds to hotel standards
- Comprehensive bathroom sanitization
- Detailed furniture and fixture dusting
- Floor care (vacuuming and sweeping)
- Window and glass surface cleaning
- Sanitization of high-touch areas
- Manage room amenity inventory and restocking
- Clean outdoor spaces (balconies and patios) when applicable
Guest Service & Safety
- Respond efficiently to guest requests
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow proper protocols for biohazardous materials
- Maintain compliance with safety and security procedures
- Support sustainability initiatives
- Participate in scheduled deep-cleaning projects
- Represent the hotel with professionalism and positivity
Physical Requirements
This active role requires physical stamina and continuous movement throughout the shift:
Regular Physical Activities
- Extended periods of standing and walking
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping
- Cart management (pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds)
- Occasional lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds)
- Regular lifting (20-30 pounds throughout shift)
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Working with cleaning chemicals (protective equipment provided)
