Job Title: Hospital Cleaner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented janitor to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and ensure that all areas are kept clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service by offering one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make up beds and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests.
  • Handle housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
  • Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Candidates will be working EITHER from 3pm-11:30pm or 4pm-12am, including rotating weekends. They will assist in refreshing and cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining common areas on different floors. Each room should take approximately 5-7 minutes to refresh. The dress code includes black pants (slacks or work pants), a black or grey plain shirt with no writing or logos, and all-black comfortable shoes. Scrubs, jeans, or sweatpants are not allowed. Schedules are provided a month in advance, ensuring you know your working days and weekends off.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.
