As a Hardware Service Technician , you’ll work closely with our team to configure and prepare hardware for client use. This includes setting up desktops, laptops, and other equipment, replacing components, and assisting with device deployments. You’ll also help with imaging, labeling, inventory, and ensuring each setup is completed accurately and on time.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with hardware and wants to grow their career in IT through hands-on work and real-world experience.

What You’ll Do

• Configure and prepare desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, Wi-Fi equipment (access points, controllers), firewalls, and switches for deployment
• Perform hardware upgrades and component swaps (RAM, hard drives, power supplies, etc.)
• Assist with imaging, labeling, and device setup using provided tools and checklists
• Help organize and manage equipment inventory
• Support occasional client deliveries, pickups, or workstation setups
• Perform onsite diagnostics to determine the root cause of hardware or connectivity issues (e.g., devices or entire client sites down)
• Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates and clients as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Driven individuals who are willing to learn
• A strong interest in computers and IT hardware , with either 1–3 years of hands-on experience or a related degree
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage your time well
• Familiarity with HP devices is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Able to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 50 lbs as needed
