Grounds Caretaker/Housekeeper Couple (6358)

Full time positions available for a mature couple needed to maintain and care for a striking ranch in rural north eastern New Mexico. The ranch is located 100 miles from Santa Fe and 30 miles from Las Vegas, New Mexico.

The groundskeeper will be responsible for watering and caring for 8 acres of lawns, and a variety of trees to include orchards with pear, apple, pine and other types of trees surrounding the residence and guest housing. The maintenance of equipment along with the houses and living areas will also be required. The housekeeper will be responsible for a dining hall as well as 9 houses with the help of another full-time housekeeper. The couple will work collaboratively but with the supervision of, and at the direction of the ranch manager and his wife. English is required, and while Spanish speaking is not necessary, it would be a plus.

Benefits include: full separate housing on the property and insurance benefits, a work vehicle, 2 weeks paid vacation per year, standard sick leave, and Christmas bonus. Salaries start from $22,500 each, or (50,000 combined annually for the couple), and potentially higher depending on individual qualifications and experience.
