Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Government Relations Directorto lead their state and federal government strategies and relationships.
About the Role:
Develop comprehensive government relations strategies across federal, state, and local levels
Conduct legislative analysis and provide strategic recommendations to the Board
Build and maintain relationships with Utah legislators, federal delegations, and key stakeholders
Lead a team focused on advancing UTA’s policy goals and interests
Salary range: $135,000 – $165,000 with exceptional benefits
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven track record in government relations, particularly at the Utah state level
Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex political landscapes
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
At least five years of relevant experience
