Job Description

Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products.  Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. 

We are currently looking for the function of General Laborer for quality control at our Woodstock plant . The General laborer must be available on dayshift, Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 6 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Push and sort products on the tumbler line
• Participate in production and preventative maintenance of equipment as requested
• Sort and manipulate concrete products
• Perform yard and plant clean-up and keep work area clean
• Apply all health and safety procedures and wear PPE
• Maintain quality standards of products

Requirements 

• High school diploma
• Manufacturing work experience
• Good team work skills and initiative
• Safety oriented
• Good mechanical aptitudes and capability to progress as a machine operator
• Good learning capabilities
• Capability to perform continual physical work
