Grain Farm Hand / Equipment Operator Position available on a corn and soybean family farm with Berg Stock and Grain Farms in Mitchell and Worth counties, Iowa. This is a great job for someone who enjoys variety in their work! The operation hauls grain to various elevator and grain bin sites in the fall and ethanol plants and elevators in the winter. MUST have experience operating large newer farm equipment and superior repair and upkeep skills with planned daily maintenance procedure skills. Will be required to work independently, be safety conscious of equipment and others, and make some logistical farm decisions. A Class A CDL is required. A clean driving record, that is manageable is required. MUST be drug-free and a nonsmoker in equipment. Hours will be based upon the weather of the crop we’re planting and the need of the crop to be planted or harvested. Hours can range from 12-14 hour days, depending upon the season.
