Humera is seeking a poised and professional Executive Assistant to support a St. Paul City Councilmember during a temporary, 4-week assignment. This high-impact role is based at St. Paul City Hall and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the daily operations of local leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the councilmember’s calendar and meeting schedule
• Answer phones and communicate effectively with constituents and city personnel
• Draft correspondence, prep materials, and support daily administrative tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Provide reliable, responsive support in a public-facing office

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Professional
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online scheduling tools
• Friendly, calm demeanor and a commitment to public service

Position Details:

Duration: 4 Weeks (with the potential to extend)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Location: On-site at St. Paul City Hall

Pay: $25–$30/hr (flexible for the right experience)

Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines. #IND345
