Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs EKGs, transcribe interpretations and maintain EKG system.
Assist with Holter and Event Monitor placement, disconnection, download, shipping, interpretation and charting.
Assist with Stress Tests.
Assist in patient charting.
May provide backup to Heart Station front desk.
Schedules patient tests.
Assist Sonographers with patients.
Assist in the training of other staff members as appropriate.

Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).

Some college or allied health field experience preferred.

Ability to perform EKGâ™s, Holter Monitor placement and scanning tests.
Ability to interact with children and parents.
Basic office skills.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
