Job Description

Our client, based in Lake Forest, Illinois, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Domestic Couple to manage the household’s daily operations. This live-in position requires a high level of professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to perform a wide range of duties. Accommodations includes a private guest suite for the couple. 

 
Responsibilities: 

Household Management & Butler Services: 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently in the 10,000sf home.  

  • Provide formal or informal table service as required.  

  • Manage vendors and service providers for household maintenance and repairs.  

Culinary Services: 

  • Plan and prepare meals tailored to the preferences and dietary needs of the couple.  

  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and fully stocked.  

  • Source fresh, high-quality ingredients and manage food inventory.  

Housekeeping: 

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home, including daily cleaning, laundry, and ironing.  

  • Handle deep cleaning tasks  

  • Ensure all household areas are tidy and well-maintained.  

  • Monitor and maintain household supplies. 

  • Provide support for any special occasions or events hosted at the residence.  

Schedule: Flexibility to work between the hours of 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM as required by the household’s needs.  

 
Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of experience as a domestic couple or in similar roles, ideally within a private residence.   

  • Discreet, professional, and trustworthy.  

  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.  

  • Excellent communication skills.  

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
