Who We Are Looking For

High energy? Check. Creative? Check. Ability to push barriers? Check. Confident? Check. This role is for someone who always wants to see what's around the corner and is always leaning forward.

We are looking for a unicorn who likes to color outside the lines, someone who can't be anything other than creative and is driven by the pursuit of perfection. The experience needed to be successful in this role is a hybrid of food and beverage, marketing, design, event planning, logistics, and consummate creativity supported by the ability to connect with a diverse consumer group in an environment that is hands-on chef owner-driven day-to-day.

The right candidate will also have superior knowledge of food trends and will be well-connected in the industry, preferably in the San Francisco Bay area, possessing the ability to tap into this network and utilize these resources to create memorable and trend-setting dining experiences and events. The person in this role will identify as a foodie, more than casually aware of hot trends, and dialed into the next big thing!

This high-performing organization is where people collaborate with emotional intelligence and are challenged to develop personally and professionally across all aspects of their lives. Keen self-awareness, a curiosity to learn, and an ability to facilitate the development of others are critical to success in this role.

The Director of Operations will possess an ownership mentality in delivering the organization's end-to-end food and beverage experience. This includes driving operational excellence and capability in restaurant operations, innovating our offerings, and elevating the guest experience.

The person in this position must meet team members where and when they work. This person must also spend time in restaurants observing managers, servers, bartenders, and back-of-the-house staff. Nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the workflow.

This position reports directly to ownership. It has ~8 senior-level direct reports and 27 front-of-the-house manager reports.
