Description MGM Television, the longstanding semi-independent division of Amazon MGM Studios responsible for shows like Wednesday and Fargo, has an immediate opening for a Development Assistant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a deep understanding of the entertainment industry. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex calendars and schedules with precision, and a passion for film and inclusive storytelling. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting senior-level executives, ideally in film, television, or a related media environment. They will be self-motivated, resourceful and able to anticipate needs and act with a high degree of autonomy. This person will also uphold a high bar for confidentiality and professionalism. Key job responsibilities - Manage complex and dynamic executive calendar including meetings, travel and events. - Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones with high attention to detail. - Track and help drive completion of key deliverables. - Organize and maintain files, documents and confidential materials. - Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents. - Provide coverage on incoming script submissions. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, key players, and current events. - Supply administrative support for Senior Executive on team, including managing incoming calls, helping to coordinate schedule, travel and expenses. Qualifications - Experience with executive level calendar management - Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination - Experience with Microsoft Office Products - 2 years of professional experience Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of professional or military experience - 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Are 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications - Experience with end-to-end project management Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $79,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
