Groundwork Coffee specializes in batch-roasted, certified organic coffees and artisanal teas. A truly local pioneer in fair trade coffee and tea, we remain committed to sustainable business practices. This includes maintaining direct relationships with growers and importers who promote responsible coffee and tea production. Thanks to the neighbors and friends we've been fortunate enough to serve - we have opened 14 cafes along the West Coast, we have two very busy roasteries in Portland and Los Angeles, and we produce a growing line of delicious cold brew coffees.
ABOUT YOU:
Groundwork Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering freshly roasted coffee to our wholesale accounts and retail café locations. Ensuring our grocery products are stocked and properly merchandised is crucial. As a Groundwork Delivery Driver, you are the face of GWC to each account and have a direct influence on our customer relationships and their satisfaction. You'll leverage your awesome attitude and passion for continuous improvement to foster strong relationships with our grocery partners and retail teams, facilitating the growth of the Groundwork brand and product sales. You'll wear many hats while conducting yourself according to Groundwork's values: quality, community, and sustainability. What You'll Do:
Have a positive attitude with good customer service skills.
Ensure grocery shelves are stocked in accordance with individual store policies, inventory management, and digital invoicing.
Deliver orders for our wholesale accounts and Groundwork retail café locations from the Rose Ave location, and pick up supplies when needed.
Pay attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions in fast-paced environments.
Follow all warehouse equipment/personal safety guidelines and regulations.
What It Takes To Rock This Role:
Must possess a valid Oregon driver's license and a clean driving history.
Positive attitude and good customer service skills.
Attention to detail, with an ability to follow special instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and stay focused to complete assigned work.
Superior SAFE driving skills and an ability to follow driving & safety laws.
Ability to communicate and interact well with other employees and our customers.
