Salary: DOE Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Analyst at our location in Miramar, Florida. This role involves supporting our Engine Acquisition and Product Line team by streamlining workflows and utilizing tools such as Python, Excel Power Query, and Data Visualization. The Data Analyst will also be required to perform data input and modeling using existing systems and models in the commercial aviation industry.
Responsibilities - Streamlining workflows for the Engine Acquisition and Product Line team.
- Utilizing Python, Excel Power Query, and Data Visualization tools to enhance operations.
- Inputting and modeling data using existing systems and models.
- Keeping abreast with the company's open bids and open ops listing.
- Comparing results versus modeling and updating current data to improve future modeling.
- Conducting research and analysis of the engine market for asset availability and sourcing.
- Collaborating with Product line sales/marketing personnel on ad-hoc projects.
- Implementing Cloud Technologies, AWS Technologies, and Data Analytics for efficient data management.
- Utilizing SQL and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Managing exploratory data analysis and aged reports for effective decision-making.
Requirements - The applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role as a Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required for the position.
- Demonstrable experience in Analytics is a necessary requirement.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding and experience of AWS Technologies.
- Proficient skills in Data Analytics are expected.
- Experience in Exploratory Data Analysis is essential for the role.
- The candidate should have the capability to perform Data Analysis effectively.
- Proficiency in Power BI is required.
- The applicant should have experience in handling Aged Reports.
- Knowledge of Air Transportation is necessary for the position.
- Demonstrable skills in SQL are a significant requirement.
