Our telecommunications client is looking to add a Content Marketing Manager to support their Strategic Content Marketing Program. This role will be part of the team responsible for the strategy, development and execution of industry thought leadership content and creative assets including articles, videos, infographics, whitepapers and more.The ideal candidate has excellent writing and editing skills, an understanding of modern communications technology, digital marketing and SEO tactics, and has excellent project management skills. This role requires the ability to work across marketing teams and digital channels to help manage the workflow of marketing deliverables. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to creative projects in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Responsibilities:
As part of the Strategic Content Marketing Program you will work closely with creative content agencies, stakeholders and web teams to develop search-driven thought leadership content:
Handle simultaneous workstreams across marketing functions
Lead the creation of digital content materials that align with the organization's branding and strategic messaging platforms and priority campaigns
Collaborate across distribution channels, marketing and communications teams
Facilitate clear communication between team members, stakeholders, and content agency to maintain project flow
Keep project on schedule and aligned with content calendar
Solicitation of citation approvals from publishers for thought leadership content
Apply legal feedback and Verizon's voice to content
Ready content for publication across mediums (social media, email, website)
Digital tools (Workfront preferred)
AI content recommendation tools (Pathfactory preferred)
Qualifications:
5-7 years of demonstrated digital marketing experience
Bachelor's degree required
Exceptional copywriting, proof reading and editing skills
Strong organizational and project management skills (Workfront preferred)
Experience in the B2B technology space
Experience fact-checking, researching, and creating citations
Familiarity with SEO and best practices for SEO content & AI Search Tools
Team player, ability to collaborate with agency partners and various internal teams
Strong project and timeline management in a deadline-driven culture
Experience with website publishing (Adobe Experience Manager, Content Stack) and social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube)
