LaSalle Network is partnering with a fast-growing construction company to hire a Construction Accountant who will play a mission-critical role in driving financial accuracy, efficiency, and process innovation. Construction Accountant Responsibilities:
Lead customer billing each month, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements
Track receivables and resolve overdue balances quickly and effectively
Manage subcontractor payments and compliance documentation
Drive the job close-out process with precision
Support audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls
Champion ERP upgrades and process improvements
Contribute to general ledger reconciliations, financial reports, and month/year-end closes
Assist in building and refining financial controls and procedures
Construction Accountant Requirements:
5+ years of project accounting experience in construction
Expertise in billing, invoicing, job cost accounting, revenue recognition, and WIP reporting
Strong communicator who collaborates across internal teams and with external partners
Process-focused mindset with a track record of identifying and implementing improvements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy
