Jack Laurie Group is seeking a Commercial Tile Setter with some experience to join our growing construction and flooring team. We’re looking for motivated individuals who take pride in high-quality workmanship and are eager to continue developing their trade skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do:
Install a variety of tile materials including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and mosaics
Assist with surface preparation including measuring, marking, cutting, and leveling
Follow layout plans and blueprints
Mix and apply mortar or adhesives and set tile in place
Grout, seal, and finish tile installations
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and working order
Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely
What We're Looking For:
1-3 years of tile installation experience (commercial preferred but not required)
Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in tile setting
Willingness to learn and take direction from lead installers
Ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation to job sites across the region
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Safety-minded attitude
Bonus if you have:
Experience with floor prep, layout, or finishing
Knowledge of other flooring types or construction trades
