VVater is a US-based, next-generation water treatment company that aims to provide Water for All Humankind with a cornerstone of sustainability and a promise of a better, healthier tomorrow. Servicing various industries and markets around the world, including Real Estate & Aquatics, Municipal & Wastewater Treatment, Food & Beverage, and Oil & Gas, our focus is on recovering and recycling different waters in a centralized or distributed way. The company also provides recreational quality water for artificial beaches, urban lagoons, wave pools, and surf parks, as well as ultra-pure and potable water for a variety of uses.

Job Description:

VVater is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy and drive brand growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CMO will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing initiatives, overseeing brand positioning, digital marketing, content creation, demand generation, and customer engagement strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in building high-impact marketing campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring strong brand positioning and market growth.
  • Oversee all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, content creation, social media, public relations, product marketing, and demand generation .
  • Lead customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and marketing technologies to optimize performance.
  • Manage corporate communications and public relations , ensuring a consistent and compelling brand narrative.
  • Oversee multichannel campaigns , including paid media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and experiential marketing.
  • Drive strategic partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights that inform marketing strategy.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget , ensuring efficiency and maximum ROI on all marketing investments.
  • Foster innovation in creative storytelling, multimedia production, and digital experiences , ensuring alignment with emerging industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless alignment between marketing initiatives and revenue goals.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team , fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Present marketing performance reports and key metrics to the executive team, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all customer touchpoints and communication channels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles , with a proven track record of success in B2B and/or B2C marketing .
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, brand management, demand generation, and content strategy .
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset , leveraging marketing analytics tools and KPIs to drive decisions.
  • Expertise in marketing automation, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and performance tracking tools .
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience in scaling marketing teams.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • High level of creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling marketing campaigns .
  • Experience in managing large-scale marketing budgets and optimizing marketing spend for maximum impact.
  • Prior experience in Water Treatment | Real Estate Development | New Product to Market is a plus.
