The maintenance supervisor helps us achieve that vision by overseeing a maintenance team for 196 unit apartment complex to ensure the property is maintained to a level that people are proud to call home. This position requires the supervisor to be very hands on and work with his team to oversee that work orders and make readies are completed correctly and efficiently. He/she must be available to be on call for emergency work orders on nights and weekends. The supervisor works with the property manager to establish on call schedules, train maintenance staff, make hiring and staff improvement decisions and implement a plan for preventive maintenance and for a safe environment. This position requires that the candidate be able to speak English & Spanish and also requires evening and weekend work as dictated by the on-call rotation schedule or as a result of emergencies or special projects. Travel required to purchase emergency supplies when needed.
