What does this role look like?

The Lockheed Martin Space Communications team is seeking an energetic, creative and project-oriented brand and marketing communications specialist to join our team. This role will lead marketing campaigns and content development for portions of our Space portfolio.

In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute proactive, strategic and integrated marketing campaigns in support of business needs.
  • Work across the Communications team to build holistic, multichannel content marketing assets, including feature stories, web copy, social media posts, videos, graphics and advertising collateral.
  • Partner with the Social Media & Web lead to optimize content, effectively balancing business strategy, user experience and SEO best practices.
  • Identify and execute paid advertising opportunities for creative storytelling.
  • Develop marketing collateral to support keep-sold and capture efforts in partnership with the Strategy & Business Development organization.
  • Provide strategic counsel to leaders and executives and support critical external engagement activities.
  • Report on and use metrics, data and feedback to continuously improve strategic marketing efforts and ensure content is effectively reaching target audiences.
  • Uphold the Lockheed Martin brand voice, guidelines and standards across all marketing assets.
