Re-sellable items are used to support our mission of helping people with disabilities and our nation's veterans to go to work. Drivers are responsible for transporting donated goods across or network of stores and Donation Centers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:None required.
EXPERIENCE:1 year of overall driving experience and a good driving record required.
KNOWLEDGE: BACKGROUND:Good understanding of DOT regulations, reading, writing and customer service skills
Ability to pass any drug and alcohol testing as well as initial and renewal DOT physical. Must pass criminal background check. Nineteen years or older.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Complete pre and post trip inspections on trucks per DOT regulationsWe are looking for qualified Truck Drivers to drive straight trucks rated at 26,000 pounds or less. New equipment (automatic transmission), local routes, home every night, 5 days per week (overtime may be required), paid per hour worked (not miles).
The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting donated goods across our network of stores and donation centers. Drives a Non-CDL rated straight truck to transport goods to retail stores, cleans up around ADC sites, merchant donation pick-ups, and other related responsibilities.
