Bilingual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job Description
Position Highlights:
Join our growing Neurology Practice as a motivated and self-starting Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Concussion/mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI). This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time employment as our practice expands.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who has experience/speciality in Neurology to join our healthcare team. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to patient education and management.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients.
- Manage pain effectively through appropriate treatment plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in case management.
- Document medical histories, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
Requirements
-Bilingual: English/Spanish (Required)
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and state licensure to practice.
-Experience: Neurology (Required)
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and case management practices.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient care demands.
