Associate Director, Patient Marketing

Located in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California, an exceptional opportunity is available for an Associate Director of Patient Marketing. This role is perfect for someone with a robust background in patient marketing within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sectors. With a competitive salary range of $170,000-$195,000 annually and a dynamic work environment that encourages collaboration across departments, this is a chance to significantly impact our strategic marketing initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement patient-focused marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, Learning & Development.
  • Maintain consistent office presence (3 days/week) to ensure alignment and execution of strategies.
  • Serve as the patient market and brand expert, setting strategic direction and ensuring execution of patient-centric marketing campaigns, education strategies, and engagement initiatives.
  • Foster trust and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, advocacy groups, and patient communities.
  • Support the development and management of patient advocacy and ambassador programs.

Required Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in patient marketing within pharma, biotech or med-device industries.
  • Prior experience in acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree minimum requirement.
  • Orthopedic marketing experience required.
  • Goal-oriented orchestrator, who can effectively coordinate and focus the work of skilled employees toward an important goal, prioritizing the right activities that lead to success.
