The Associate Agent role is designed to prepare motivated professionals for eventual agency ownership. You’ll work closely with the District office team, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while building your own career in the insurance industry.
This is a hybrid role with negotiable office time. The office is located in Mobile.
As an Associate Agent, you will:
Develop insurance expertise across Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial product lines.
Assist with client acquisition through networking, referrals, and community outreach.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering policy questions and supporting claims.
Collaborate with your mentor to learn office operations and agency management.
Participate in University of Farmers® training programs and district development sessions.
Build your sales pipeline while helping individuals and businesses secure the right coverage.
We’re seeking candidates who bring:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to obtain and maintain an Alabama Property & Casualty and Life/Health insurance license (sponsorship provided).
A background in sales, customer service, or business (preferred but not required).
