Armed Security Officer

Schedule: Full time
Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Wednesday 3:00 PM to 11:00PM

Location: Boston, MA
Pay rate: $26.00 - $27.00 hourly

Job Description:

As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Monitoring premises through patrols or surveillance systems
Enforcing access control measures and verifying individuals' credentials
Responding to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively
Writing detailed incident reports
Providing excellent customer service and assistance to visitors and employees
Collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary

Requirements:

Must have an unrestricted LTC
Must qualify and attend: firearms qualification course (rounds, targets, and range time provided).
Must be able to pass firearms qualification bi-annually
Must own a firearm and equipment
Military or law enforcement experience is preferred
Responsible, dependable and punctual
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to handle conflict
