Job Goal: Work under minimum supervision to ensure the efficient operation of the Director of Schools' office and provide clerical services to the Director of Schools and the Board of Education. Handle confidential information and engage in frequent contact with all levels of district employees, outside agencies, and the public.
Qualifications
Education - High School Diploma
Experience - five years of advanced secretarial experience and extensive contact with people
Special Knowledge and Skills - Knowledge of School District organization, operations, and board policies. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling. Excellent public relation, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Competence in using software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and word processing skills. Ability to multi-task numerous and complex administrative activities.
