Accounts Receivable Specialist/Billing Specialist

Our client has a great role for someone who likes to be busy in the areas of AR and Billing. Your days will be busy working with a very people focused manager.

You will be responsible for timely and proper coding and entry of customer invoices; timely and accurate recording of customer payments; recording of non-AR related deposits; and collections as well as having the understanding that cash is king, getting all billing and deposits completed with urgency.

Receivables Management:

• Meet deadlines as outlined in monthly close calendar.
• Responsible for creation of invoices and collection of clients’ invoices.
• Post cash receipts whether from clients or other sources accurately and timely.
• Delivery of invoice to the client (email, portal upload, mail).
• Process credit memo and/or credit & rebill as required.
• Communicate with internal departments to answer questions regarding revenue and resolve/notify of billing issues.

 

Collections:

• Follow up with customers on past due Invoices via telephone and/or email correspondence.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide input for weekly and quarterly cashflow forecasts.
• Weekly AR report/collection reporting.

 

Other Duties as Assigned:

• Assist in pulling invoices, payment support for annual audits or as requested.
• Deposit physical checks via remote deposit scanner.
• Backup for accounts payable.
• Special projects.

 

 

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years experience, combines with at least a 2 year degree. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Oracle, Sage Intacct, NetSuite will be an advantage but not necessary. You will be able to use your excellent verbal and written communication skills, your solid organizational skills and teamwork skills.

This role is available for an immediate start, offering a pay rate of $23-$30 per hour depending on skills and experience.
